Here's the official report from Microsoft:

We are constantly making updates to Azure AD Connect sync to ensure optimal security and performance of your synchronization processes. Therefore, we retire older versions of Azure AD Connect on 29 February 2024. On that date versions published before 5 May 2018 (version 1.1.751.0 and older) will be retired.
