PostgreSQL version 11 community support ends on 9 November 2023. Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server will extend the support for PostgreSQL version 11 and will now retire on 9 November 2024.

If you choose to maintain your existing Azure Database for PostgreSQL version 11 servers beyond the retirement date, restrictions will apply to those servers as described in the Azure Database for PostgreSQL versioning policy document.
