Keyboard navigation is an essential tool for people with an accessibility need. This change allows someone using Keyboard navigation to continue the flow as expected without being locked to the phone input component.

@ygpedroso the original owner has not responded to any of the requested features. I took it upon myself to update the package and add some new features in the meantime. Including your pull request.
