What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. sh autoconf.sh
2. mkdir build
3. cd build; ../configure
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
checking for swig... swig
checking for java... java
checking for javac... nojavac
configure: error: no javac binary in PATH, bindings will not be built
[oobie@localhost build]$ java -version

./configure --disable-java completes fine, but obviously does not
build java
