Expanded dropdowns not ready by ChromeVox #109

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Navigate to http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_select 
with ChromeVox enabled
2. Tab to the dropdown in the result view on the right hand side
3. Use Alt + Down to expand dropdown
4. Select various choices

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to read the currently selected element via ChromeVox

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ChromeVox 1.29.1
Chrome 28.0.1500.95 m
Windows 8 (x64)
