Contract edit - need pop-up warning when end date and status changed

The users are not going to spot / won't remember the end date changing / status changing when they select a tender. Please can we have a warning box displayed when the felds are updated. "Warning: The Contract End Date and possibly the Contract Status have been automatically update as the Selected Tender has been changed. " Just need an OK button. This box should always appear - it is not turned off by the "Confirmation" tick box on the left menue.

This is happening every time I change the fields manually (as I set up the test!) - should only be for "when they select a tender." This is a warning to appear when the 'select a tender' automatically changes the date / status. (so has to be called as part of the code in models/contact.php line 326 ??)
