HI recently purchased a Hauppauge-WinTV-QuadHD and installed to an Ubuntu 20.04 system. I could not get anything out of the card (scan just failed, mythtv would not work, etc. all failing with errors in /var/log/syslog -- see below if interested). Swapped it to an intel linux box, worked perfectly...
Googling around and I saw the 2018/2019 thread on AMD and dma failures (based on errors I was getting), so tried the fix suggested, and its now working perfectly. I think you might want to connect the AMD-specific parts of the below lspci -v ? (but totally guessing). I can do some further commands if needed, albeit, scheduling downtime on the card with family use, isn't easy :)
