I have tried updating my phone to Gingerbread 2.3.4, which worked, however I
can no longer download apps from the market. I found out this is because my
cache folder shows as being full even though there is nothing in the folder.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.visit market
2.try downloading app
3.download starts and appears to work, but then dissapears with no error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I have tried wiping everything from recovery as well as fastboot. However I
cannot clear the cache folder. I have even tried downgrading to a previous
version of GB. My next option is to downgrade to Froyo but I don't think the
rom is the issue. the only thing showing up in my cache folder is the
lost+found directory but that is reporting empty. The issue is within the cache
folder itself but there is no file name. If someone knows of a way for me to
wipe the cache folder completely (I cannot use adb commands as I get an access
denied error, even in su mode) or delete it and recreate it I think that would
solve my problem..

Thanks
