The entire protocol needs to be updated. At this time we should review and possibly migrate the current code into something more clean and concise.

From what I can tell, the last update to protocol/etc was for 1.9pre meaning the burger/wiki.vg changes are here: http://b.wiki.vg/b1.9pre...1.5pre

Does minero's MC 1.5 Protocol look nice to you? It's a lot more idiomatic than CM's (compatible with io.Copy and such).
