Stratux version: Stratux Europe Edition 1.6r1-eu027
Stratux config: PI4, Dual SDR, BL1 GPS, 3.0A power supply.
EFB: Skydemon
Description of your issue:
I'm in the process of creating a rather specific setup. In the aircraft I have a Netgear Nighthawk M1 LTE router. Now I want to connect the Pi4 running Stratux via ethernet to the router. Location shall be used by a windows laptop for mission-specific custom software which already works very well.
At the same time I want to share location and traffic with ipad running skydemon which of course expects the data to come from: 192.168.1.1
Unfortunately, I cannot assign a fixed IP to the Pi (or any client for that matter) in the Nighthawk router.
I tried setting a fixed IP (and deactivate WIFI subsequently) in the Stratux Pi but I cannot figure out how to make any changes via SSH that persist reboots. Even a blank file created on the file system disappears after reboot.
Q:
Apparently there is some kind of read-only script incorporated that only lets changes made via web interface persist reboots?
How can I make permanent changes to the network config?
Is /etc/dhcpcd.conf even the correct place to look?
