I know this mod is on semi hiatus so I don't expect a quick response. However to put a long story short I love beta 1.7.3 worldgen. However there is one thing modern versions undeniably do better. The cave update. I cannot give those amazing caves up.
So I'd love to see a "Beta Cave Update" preset which combines Beta worldgen with the updated cave generation. (But please don't bundle it in with Beta Vanilla, modern biomes do ruin the Beta feel imo) Even if it doesn't work well and causes issues, I'd like to have it very much either way.
But better yet, hopefully instead of a preset itself, this can be a toggle which you can turn on with every preset.
