Add wavy leaves and plants #48

Those must be waved by the wind.

Aricsprague commented 2 years ago

I know it's more of a texture thing, but some bushy leaves would be amazing as well.

Please no. Soooo much stupid lag already...

it'd be a pretty easy thing to be able to turn on and off. if you have a lot of lag there's a few settings that can help, i.e sample settings, render distance, chunk animation, cloud type. also making sure your device isn't bogged down on other processes eating up memory or cpu.

Well my device is a potato and so nothing runs faster than 5fps but uhh if linlin could make a toggle for performance then I'd use it!

Aricsprague commented 2 years ago

If I had to guess, if he implements this there'd be a toggle in the Set.txt file same as it is for the waves in water.

UPDATE:: I'm doing some research on the wavy leaves and am testing it out. I'll submit a pull request if/when I get it to work. I will attempt to integrate a toggle in the set.txt file.

Okay, where? Is it immediately on the shader in game menu? If it's not then I don't want to reconfigure file code in order to change settings.....I might break something.....and I'm not a coder so....

you need to edit some code to do this. it's easy you dont even need any coding skill. just read README.md file amd edit SET.txt
