Jump back to text after clicking on footnote #252

Hey, would be cool to jump back to the last position after clicking on a footnote. Otherwise I have to find it manually by skipping through the chapter.

Best regards, Jonas

@onny Thanks for your interest in Bookworm. Just that I understand the request correctly, after clicking on a Annotation, the annotation pop up comes up and if you close the same the page position should not change. Or are you clicking on “info” button to look at list of annotations and coming back to see the page at the start position and not where you left it?

Will be great if you can attach a few screen shots of the how you click the “footnote” and how the page position is lost on returning back to reading

Hey @babluboy thanks for responding so fast. Here's the footnote: image After clicking on it, the reader jumps to the annotation: image Now I recognized that when I click on "1" again, I get back to the original position. But maybe this is not so intuitive for anyone. An overlay with an button "Jump back to text" would be more clear.

Thank you and best regards, Jonas

Thanks for the screen shots. Now I understand that this Annotation/Footnote is one which is included with the book contents and not created via Bookworm. In such a case it will be difficult to create a "Return" button as the implementation of the annotation will vary from book to book.

However, if it is possible can you please attach the ebook in this request so that I can check the contents and the behaviour. I will check if this is a standard way in which ebooks do annotations so that I can make the process more intuitive - maybe make the book annotations behave in the same way as the Bookworm annotations : i.e. appear in a pop up which the user can close and proceed with the reading.
