This is not an error. Btw you have to install the fonts on your host system. Just download the powerline fonts and install them into your Windows fonts directory. Then you have to change to mintty font (Options -> Text) f.e. to "Dejavu Sans Mono for Powerline".
Yay It works :tada: , Thanks @pfffr :smile:
I have my powerline fonts installed to my system fonts, but the options in minty only show 6 basic fonts (that must come with minty)
Same issue with @LongLiveCHIEF , cannot seem to add custom fonts to the font list. Any suggestions?
Same question with @LongLiveCHIEF and @chunjy92
You can change font in ~/.minttyrc by adding a line font=some font name
@chunjy92 @LongLiveCHIEF
Here is my solution. In .minttyrc
just add
Font=Meslo LG L DZ Bold for Powerline
FontHeight=10
save, exit and
then source .minttyrc
Be sure that you've installed the font in Windows.
I need powerline fonts to apply my favorite oh-my-zsh theme So I cloned the powerline fonts after I run the install.sh It give me error message like this
which: no fc-cache in (/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/user/bin:/us
