For a Open Source project this app has become quite uninviting to get started on:

~Media has to be downloaded manually~
~No clear or up-to-date documentation on requirements. A step-by-step guild is probably at order!~
~While hard to provide for this an Android app that connects to a API endpoint, some CI would probably go a long way!~
- Later, maybe!

From work pending:

Xzing-cpp needs to be built and integrated separately. Builds should rather be included as a direct dependency-
- Complication: Xzing-cpp does not build the emulator libraries by default and requires patching to build them
