Elaborate on "Disable in source" wording #54

In the project report during the Database Analysis stage of the upgrade process, some modules say:

Already downloaded
In core
Not yet ported

While some say

Already downloaded (Disabled in source)
In core (Disabled in source)
Not yet ported (Disabled in source)

It's not clear to me why some should be disabled in source and some shouldn't?

What is the difference and should we provide any text to help explain this?
