Unchecking of All Day checkbox is not saved. #7

When creating new content the All Day checkbox can be checked and this will be saved. However, when editing, although the check can be removed this change back to un-checked is not being saved.

I find that this is a calculated rather than a saved value and depends on the function date_is_all_day in core, but this is producing a wrong result. I have raised an issue about this at https://github.com/backdrop/backdrop-issues/issues/2769.
