Thanks @aduhour. This looks good. I will edit your first comment of the PR to include the github magic word "Fixes", which will link it to the issue, and will automatically cause the issue to be closed when the PR is merged.

Tested and works for me as well - Thanks! I only tested in PHP 8.2, but the docs also note that this should be backwards compatible even prior to 8.0. I think this should be good to merge.
