Asterisk warning on changes when dragging on table sometimes disappears

Navigate to Manage fields
Add some fields to a content type
Navigate to Manage display
Move fields around within the upper region - asterisk works fine 👍🏽
Move fields from the visible region to the Hidden region. The asterisk shows for a split second, then disappears

If you reload the page, you can see that the changes have not been saved, despite the fact that the asterisk is gone.

Oops, never mind. This is also a problem with Seven, so I guess the issue is the ajax call - this seems like a core bug. Closing
