Follow up to https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/paragraphs/issues/60 could be the ability to:

add/insert Paragraphs via contextual link

This patch on the D7 queue could be a starting point:

I'm also going to close this for now as basic "Add new" functionality should be included in https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/paragraphs/issues/60 at this point. We can add new follow up issues for tweaks and fixes as needed.
