Incorporate relevant recent commits to Drupal module. #6

The initial port to Backdrop was based on Drupal version 7.x-3.1. There have been several commits to the Drupal module since then and version 7.x-3.2 has recently been released. This Backdrop version (currently release 1.x-3.1.2) needs to incorporate any relevant updates.

The Drupal module is now at 7.x-3.5 and the commits there need to be checked for relevance to this Backdrop version.
