2nd Theme for Digital Agency Recipe Package #7

CURRENT STATUS:

Zeever is being designed specifically to address the needs of the Digital Agency Recipe Package. However, it would be really cool if more than one theme supported that package.

I would love to have the maintainer of another theme check to see if it would be possible to make their theme work with the Digital Agency Recipe Package as well.

I would also appreciate feedback on how to make the the Digital Agency Recipe Package work better with other contrib themes. If there are things in the package that specifically seem to break other contrib recipes and if I'm able to fix these items in a way that is less likely to break other contrib recipes, I'd love to do this.

My goal is release a stable version of the Digital Agency Recipe Package on August 1st, so that themes have a stable batch of content to theme against. However, it would be great to have some contrib themers take a look at the package before that, to identify places it can be improved.

ORIGINAL TEXT:

Today we discussed the idea that it might be interesting to have a second theme option designed for the same use case. Another theme, built to address the same specific use case but with a different presentation.

Maybe, once we get the sample content and recipes working, someone might modify an existing theme to support this specific use case?

We might find another Wordpress theme that would be suitable or ask someone to create a custom design that works for this use case, given the same functionality and content.

I see this as an icebox option. Not a priority, but something that might happen if anyone is interested or something to do after the initial theme is usable.

It occurred to me today, that if we're going to support the functionality and content with more than one theme, we should not name the module after the initial theme. The module and recipes should probably have their own name based upon functionality and then more than one theme could support them.

Existing themes might add support for a specific batch of functionality.
