:+1: I think it would also be useful to have either a sticker or pin badge with just the logo, name and "Project Management Committee" to wear on our Backdrop t-shirts when attending events.
I have interesting idea here.
We can create an automatically created (and customized ) PDF to print business card for any user on backdropcms.org.
Anyone who want to have fancy dragon styled BC can just download PDF and print it using next door printing company.
Here's a quick stab at something, no dragon, couldn't get him to look not 'tacked on'.
I feel that having both logo and mascot is a bit much. Doesn't fit the Backdrop minimalist ethic.
And I like the first try, but would prefer the logo in the bottom right.
I like the first try too. It is in tandem with our flagship site design.
If we're open sourcing it like @Gormartsen suggests we could have a couple of versions
These look so good!!! I love them all :) I especially like the half-and-half with white and black.
@wesruv as mentioned in the design call today, I wondered what the white/black card would look like with the dragon at the top on the white side. Perhaps too cluttery? Not sure! I love these, and want to get some printed for badcamp :)
I made official PDF and Illustrator versions: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xp5kxbx804jeh3d/AAANUCtu1_UGulgoA8zKSWOoa?dl=0
If you need help making a version with your info in it I can update the text and send a PDF for printing.
Those files have .25" bleed (which is a little overkill) which is why the black bars might look 'too large'.
It would be great if more people had more things to hand out about Backdrop CMS. For starters, it would be great if all PMC members were given a business card with their contact info and a link to backdropcms.org. Even better if the back of the card held some useful information about Backdrop CMS!
I'd also like to put the mission statement on the business card too, if there's room: Backdrop CMS enables people to build highly customized websites, affordably, through collaboration and open source software.
Here's my idea for the front:
