Security Team Application #517

Why do you want to join the security team? I'm a cybersecurity engineer with long experience with Drupal (since 2004). I'd like to put my support behind Backdrop because I believe non-profits and SMB's need a stable, low-cost, low-maintenance CMS.

Please briefly explain your experience with security I have experience in several areas of cybersecurity, mostly helping SMBs recover from attacks, improve their network security, and meet regulation requirements for PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and others. I also help with policy work as well as training. I've created several training courses for blue teams and I manage training events for teams. On the coding side, I've been a full-stack web developer from 1998-2016 including managing and securing servers and incident response. I was not on the Drupal security team, but my main client base during those years were all running Drupal. http://linkedin.com/in/katinimes

@katin do you remember being contacted by the security team? (An email probably would have come from myself or @quicksketch). It's been a while, so if you don't recall, I'll just send a new message to your gmail.
