3 days ago I thought about trying to pull the functionality of several of these block types together into a single block, but I think that the UI for that would be pretty confusing. Why not just allow someone to install a single module and get a handful of nice block types or features.
Again, the goal is to make it easier for site architects to find these blocks. Right now, a search for "Blocks" on BackdropCMS.org does not even show all these blocks. A "Super Block" module, might get more visibility and be easier to find. It would show up higher on the list of modules, because more people would be using one modules rather than a bunch of people using different modules.
Curious what others think about this.
Request for a module, theme, or layout? It has occurred to me that there are a number of modules out there that provide for specific block types that might be very useful to site architect, but because their use case is pretty niche, people might not even know they exist to bother looking for them.
What if we created a single "Super Blocks" module (open to other names) that provides a curated list of anywhere from 4-6 or more interesting block types/functions for site architects. We could bundle extisting contrib projects together, but also leave the solo projects available.
The kinds of modules/blocks that I'm talking about are:
A brief description of the feature or functionality you require I'm just looking for a single module that provide more than one niche block type for site architects.
(Optional) Other similar projects for Backdrop, Drupal, WordPress, etc
I'm curious if there are any other modules that bundle other modules out there.
It would be great if there were some way to keep the projects seperate, but just have a single module that pulled them all in.
