As a user who would like to contribute more, I've tried to be active in the forum from time to time. But, I've found it a little frustrating that so few questions are exposed on the main pages. For some reason, it does not seem to occur to me to click on the forum sections, where one gets a longer list of topics and can see which ones have been answered and which ones have not been answered.
Instead, I keep looking for a "recently asked questions" link. There is a block with only the most recent 3 questions. I would like to see a link to "recently asked questions" that provides a longer list (maybe even across forums). This could be a "see more...." link at the bottom of the Recent Topics block or it could be a "Questions that need answers" button that would take a user specifically to recent questions that no one has answered yet - or in which there is no accepted answer.
Just brainstorming ways to make it easier and to encourage folks folks to support each other.
