[UX] Add charts to the dashboard #3529

in the dashboard rather than textual information, provide (where you can) graphical information in the form of charts (for example system updates or statistics like grav admin panel do) to provide a quick and intuitive "global" information

I personally love the idea of adding charts to the dashboard, but this issue may be a tricky one. We'll first need to decide what a chart would be useful to measure (let's look at other systems like grav) and then we'll need to decide how to do it. Since @quicksketch has some experience with differnt charting libraries from his work on https://www.drupal.org/project/charts, we should get him involved here.

I think another great CMS for "dashboard inspiration" : ) can be October CMS (https://octobercms.com).
