We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Marketplace Platform team. The team provides a highly stable platform on which customers can manage and sell their products, connect with other e-commerce platforms and go-live with our streaming features. With guidance from our Product team, we add features and tools that improve the experience for our viewers, sellers, managers and content creators.

Requisitos

• Build and maintain our ecommerce stack built on Ruby on Rails, Node.js and React
• Build internal REST and event driven services
• Build and document developer facing REST APIs
• Leverage existing technologies and services to improve our platform’s performance and reliability
• Work closely with the DevOps team to improve our continuous integration and delivery
• Create automated tests with all code changes
• Add features to our React client-facing websites and our administration tools
• Debug complex workflows and improve performance
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide quality feedback to other members of the team
• Improve internal workflow and release strategies
• Work in an Agile development environment, adhering to project timelines, and effectively manage priorities to meet deliverables

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience building web applications, REST APIs
• A deep understanding of Typescript and Ruby on frameworks like Ruby on Rails and NestJS
• Experience with APIs (json:api specification is a plus), OOP design patterns, RDBMs databases, and unit and integration testing principles
• Experience with relational databases, complex queries, performance tuning.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and Sentry
• Experience working with event driven architectures
• Experience in service oriented architecture
• Knowledge of Frontend technologies and the interaction between the UI and API
• Experience debugging full stacks
• Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD
• Experience working in a Startup environment including a thirst for knowledge with a drive to learn, a willingness to try new technologies and step outside of their area of expertise, an eye for detail, and a drive to complete tasks quickly
• Experience with Agile development practices
