I think that it is alright for us to be able to manually add or remove time for every of our logs, but I think it would be much more efficiently if you had an application that tracks a game. With a cloud system we could just open a game, the app would detect it, track it, and upload the played time directly to your current log.
There could even be an optional preparation time before opening a game so you can chose which log it is going to be tracked.
For safety purposes there can be an automatic detection and a manual detection mode, just checking a box in the app settings if you want it to automatically detect any game or not. Then you can browser for the executable file and start tracking your games.
Having offline and online modes we could open the app with no internet conection at all, play a game, the app woud still track it and store it somewhere in our machines (prefferably customizable paths) and whenever we go online, it would upload any logs not uploaded to the cloud yet. If we preffer we could use the app entirely offline and decide (in settings) to never upload a log, just storing them in our machines.
Associating our Backloggd account to the app we could make things easier, even being able to associate other platforms for time tracking, synchronizing with past played time in those patforms, and anything one could need to.
