It allows absolute links (e.g., https://example.com) in nav objects from merged mkdocs.yml files.
The unit test was originally developed by @pjotr-gr. The bugfix was also developed by @pjotr-gr and then improved by @bih, @camilaibs and me. Thanks to you all, I just picked up the pieces 🙇
