Adding a temporary directory to list of theme plugin directories causes havoc by making it walk temporary directories for themes

We created a new PR which fixes this without removing the techdocs_metadata file from the template. MkDocs require the directory to be included in the dirs list of the theme to be able to process it and insert our required variables. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! :100:
