Couldn't create pull request on repository evandrocoan/package_control:

It is not creating pull requests for my fork https://github.com/evandrocoan/PackagesManager/pulls

@evandrocoan What you saw there was a 500 error on Github's end when Backstroke tried to create a pull request. I did try to sync the link again but also got another 500, which point to something going wrong on Github's end.

So, I tried to replicate it on my local computer (by running the same code that the server would run on my local machine) and I was only able to recreate the issue when I used the exact same version of the github client that is being used in the worker repo: https://github.com/evandrocoan/PackagesManager/pull/3

So, I bumped the github client to a later version, suspecting that they may have changed something in order to be compatible with new github changes, and that seemed to fix the issue. I still plan on finding the root cause of this, but at least this is a solution that works right now.

I think I know the problem. When I created the backstroke link, the downstream name was package_control, I just remembered I renamed my fork's name from package_control to PackagesManager. Then when accessing the link https://github.com/evandrocoan/package_control you are redirected to https://github.com/evandrocoan/PackagesManager

Perhaps this redirection is causing the problem?

It shouldn't - GitHub handles that automatically for both api requests and html pages.
