Reaver WPS, problem: "Sending identity response" locked for along time.

Hello, this is my problem:

[+] Switching mon0 to channel 1
[+] Waiting for beacon from 00:24:xx:xx:xx:xx
[+] Associated with 00:24:xx:xx:xx:xx (Essid: Vodafone-13xxxxxxx)
[+] Trying pin 12345670
[+] Sending EAPOL START request
[+] Received identity request
[+] Sending identity response

I waited for about 30 minutes, but nothing. Why? What is the problem?

I have used this command: 

sudo reaver -i mon0 -c 1 -b 00:24:xx:xx:xx:xx -S -vv

u r too far away from d modem..try to get closer..as it happens to me sometimes

what is wireless are you using ?

try to change your wireless with rtl8187 + tplink booster antenna

I use the internal wifi card of my notebook. It has Broadcom bcm4312. Now, I 
try to change with a Tplink TL-WNG620G. I'll let you know.

i'm having same problem, using reaver 1.4 , OS: Linux (Backtrack 5 R1),my wifi 
card is Alfa AWUS063H, and the signal to the AP is 80% ( in my father's room 
like 10 meters away), the AP model is Alice Pirelli Gate

since i can't modify my last poft .... i've forgot to mention the command i use 
is 

reaver -i mon0 -b 64:87:D7:xx:xx:xx -a -vv  (also tried without -a, -N -S and 
all the combinations between this options but none of theme seems to work )

I am also having this issue, and my computer is about a foot away from the 
router. I'm using Reaver 1.4 on Arch Linux.  My wireless chipset is rt8192e.  
The command is used is

reaver -i mon0 -b 0C:D5:02:xx:xx:xx -vv

this looks similar to my issue 253, the AP is replying (that's the reason there 
is no timeout) but reaver is not recognizing its reply, as in my pcap file 
(http://layla.comoj.com/reaver/fail.pcap)
I couldn't upload my file to google as attachment so i uploaded it to my site

looks like a reaver bug or AP's WPS implementation is immune.

please anybody see my pcap file and the AP's reply in it, and why isn't reaver 
recognizing it???

Same here. Live BT5R2 CD on a netbook.

10 meters away max. Using:

mi correggo, nun funce nemmeno con modem telecom :( 
praticamente ho 10 linee alice telecom e vari e solo una mi ha preso la wpa con 
gli altri non funziona.

Same problem on ubuntu 10.10 with reaver 1.4 and atheros wifi card.
- "Sending identity response" freeze for all the Alice gate router I have tried.

@bruno: I've a similar problem with essid (es. Vodafone-10xxxxxx). This AP 
after a few attempts with revaer, shuts down and there is no way to resume the 
crack of the PIN.  I used alpha AWUS036H with rtl8187 driver. I tried every 
kind of command with reaver, but the AP has crashed and do not responding to 
PIN requests. I think it went in locked mode. Even a few hours waiting for the 
AP is no longer accepting requests for PIN.

Hi My Dear Brothers,
I got success in cracking over WPA-PSK routers/modem by using Reaver1.4 and 
Currently i am using BackTrack5R3.
While cracking WPA2-PSK ( Wash tell me that -WPS Locked-"No". So i run 
Reaver1.4 to crack it, i use Reaver -i mon0 -c XX -b XX -S -L -vv
Then
" switching mon0 channel xx
Waiting Becon from xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
associating with xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (ESSID:XXXX)
Trying Pin 12345670
Sending EAPOL start request
Received Identity request
Sending Identity Repose.

Now it stop here does not go further. Even waited one hour.
Then i Saw in google code that in this case open another konsol and try
aireplay-ng -1 120 -a BSSID mon0
But Issue remain same. Is there any issue over attacking WPA2-Psk Pin Codes.

Guidance is required about this Issue on this forum.
