What steps will reproduce the problem?

No issue - 
consider adding notes that tutorial-8.5 RegenBootKernel.txt
can be run after 8.4 or after 8.1

Please verify that load spinmaker is in step 3 and 
load optsym is in step 4.

I though spinmaker should be last, so spinmaker does not end up in the result 
dictionary.

braino to Add notes on the webpages if this is different

GOT ERROR undefined symbol H_lastlfa

restart; do-over from beginning...

This time it worked with 54 longs free. 

Maybe this cannot be run immediately after 8.4?

Is there a load and verify sequence for this test?

I burned the result to eeprom, and got:

Prop0 Cog6 ok
