input field width increases when click on column in another table row while in edit mode

1. Create a simple table with a editable column
2. Click on the column in first row
3. Click on same column in second row

The width of the input field in the second row will be a few pixels more than 
in the previous input field.

You can see this behavior in the example on datatables at

Click on Gecko first row
Click on Gecko second row
and so on
