I am complete noob about hardward modding so sorry if I am asking non sense. I have an HPE MicroServer Gen10 Plus v2 (Xeon E-2314, Intel C252) but it does not support Bifurcation. From Intel Ark, the CPU does support x8/x8 and x8/x4/x4.
Wondering if I could solder those pins (if they exist) and then get rid of the PCIe switch. Many thanks!
