Optimize build #28

Separate firmware software build process.

@MCLiii, sorry to say, but I'm pretty sure your changes are based off the wrong firmware branch. optimize_build should branch off of uart-app-ina219-lights. I will probably be pushing some new changes from competition to uart-app-ina219-lights tonight though. I don't know if you want to wait for those or rebase right now. Also @MCLiii, since our git history for this repo can be questionable, please use git rebase -i uart-app-ina219-lights and drop all of the commits except for your two build process commits so that we don't introduce other changes to uart-app-ina219-lights.
