Hi

Yes, I provided the event registration link as that is where the optional demographic questions live. Post event we provide a transparency report with demographic information.

Due to local COVID-19 restrictions, we unfortunately cannot offer child care services at this event. We can, however, provide a list of local childcare providers.

If you have any other questions or need clarification, please let me know.

Gathering demographic information from attendees and speakers is done voluntarily at registration. Gender Identity; Age; and Disabilities that we should be aware of for the event are included.

Transparency reports are generated and published after the event to show attendee and speaker demographics.

  • While the registration page may also be required for speakers, does the CFP have demographics information? Is the CFP viewable?

Demographic Questions from the CFP:

What gender does the Speaker identify with? Options: Woman, Man, Other Gender Identity, Prefer not to answer Does the Speaker identify as a person of color?

Which race and/or ethnic background does the Speaker identify with? Options: Prefer not to answer, Asian, Black, Latinx, Native American, Indigenous Peoples, Self Identify

The post event feedback questions were being revised based on CHAOSS feedback and metrics provided. They are being approved and will be sent out shortly...as this event ended last week.
