Q
Detail the process for measuring Event Demographics.A
For data privacy reasons, we have removed the (optional) attendee demographics questions from our event registration forms. However, we do measure speaker and scholarship applicant demographics with the CFP and application respectively. During the CFP process, we ask several questions related to speaker demographics such as gender identity, if the speaker identifies as a person of color, or identifies with any other underrepresented groups. All LF events commit to speaker diversity and we do not allow all male speaker lineups or panels. All demographic-related questions are not required - an attendee may choose to answer, or not. In addition to making these questions not required, we also provide the option for a registrant to select “prefer not to answer”. Q
Provide an example of an opt-out option on the Event registration page if available.A
Example of question with opt-out: What gender do you identify with? (Prefer not to answer, Woman, Man, Other Gender Identity)Q

Provide an example of the Event Feedback page if available.A

If you felt included at the event, please share what made you feel that way. If you did not feel included at the event, what could we have done to make the event more inclusive?" Additionally, on the D+I page of the event website, we have the following information: If you have ideas on how we can create a more inclusive event, please do not hesitate to let us know.
