Hi. thank you for this repo and youtube video. my system does not support uefi and it only has bios bootloader. currently i installed windwo 7 and arch linux on hdd 750GB system and want to install hackintosh alognside with it. Can i use clover for this goal? Do you know any related article or tutorial to install hackintosh alongside windows and archlinux with bios support? Thanks in advance.

Hello, Both Legacy (BIOS) and EFI (UEFI) are possible with Clover. Either MBR & GPT are supported. But I suggest you using GPT partition scheme so you'll be easier configuring Clover for multiboot purpose from EFI Partition. Plz note that you need 64-bit arch for the OSes with EFI.

As for Windows, I personally never installed Windows 7 (x64) with EFI.. but 8 upto 10. For hackintosh, the very 1st step is checking your hardwares (especially CPU & GPU) for mac compatibility. Then go to https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ for tutorials.

Good luck.

Hello,

first i want to thank u for all your work and turtorials. I followed your videos, step by step. My idea was to install Win10, Ubuntu & macOS Mojave.

So now i am at this step:

  1. i created the GPT partition [check]
  2. installed windows 10 [check]
  3. installed ubuntu 18.10 [check]
  4. did all the clover work [check]
  5. insert the CLOVER EFI in bootorder [failed]

When i try to set the clover.efi in the bootorder list, it doesen't appear. I am using an ASUS UX331UN with the current BIOS version 308

I think it's a problem with the BIOS on my PC. (ASUS BIOS UTILITY). Is there for a solution or is it just the wrong BIOS?

Greeting and thx again :-)
