Some problems with your oc 0.64 on my computer #6

My computer configuration is the same as yours. surface pro 7 i5+8+256 But The boot interface is black when halfway through. I use macos 10.15.5,Can you help me? thanks

I have only tested the release 1664 (with OC 0.64) with Big Sur. Did you also try the release 1663 with Catalina? Works?

No,i find same problem 0.64oc with Mac OS 11.0.1 how to get release 1663? can you share you Big Sur dmg? i want to test. surface camera work on Big Sur？

For download marcos installer you need to use https://github.com/corpnewt/gibMacOS (works also for windows).

Great question! :) I never tried that...but i made a test right now and it seems to not work. I'll try to investigate if there is a solution. :)

I successfully installed it on Mac 10.15.5 with oc 1662, but the computer cursor shows garbled characters and not displayed properly

Unfortunately I no longer use Catalina and cannot test. but if you have video problems, try updating Whatevergreen.

🆗，I tried all the OC releases in Big Sur, but they didn't work. I'll try again to fix whatgreen.kext on Catalina. Thank you for your response

btw that's normal of what happened 2 u when installing big sur, that's the problem with the ice lake processor and u have 2 wait until there is a update.

When using a U disk to install, the progress bar is half of the screen and the screen is black

The tutorial uses macos, but I don't have a MacBook

Analyzing your log i cannot find any critical message to understand what's going wrong. Since you are the only one that get in this problem, maybe you have something wrong in your Surface bios settings. Try to reset to default settings.

Another test that you could try, is to set Disabled under Misc - Security - SecureBootModel nel file config.plist

Bios_log_config.zip I have try,but It doesn't work. you can see the bios log config from Bios_log_config.zip

It worked when I deleted the following in config.list. Maybe my device is not compatible with SSDT-PNLF-CFL.aml in brightness adjustment.

Yes it work,I tested both 10.15.7 Catalina and Big Sur 11.0.1 .
