Not finding it #42

I followed the instructions for where to extract the file, and I was able to get it to work on my laptop but on my VR PC it isn't working it won't pop up when I try to create a sorce

i have same issue. version 1.4 works fine. But when i install 1.5 - i have this error:

18:10:22.699: LoadLibrary failed for '../../obs-plugins/64bit/win-openvr.dll': The specified module could not be found. 18:10:22.699: (126) 18:10:22.699: Module '../../obs-plugins/64bit/win-openvr.dll' not loaded 18:10:22.700: ---------------------------------

all files in their places. Running as administrator, changing the attributes also gave nothing

Not able to replicate the issue. I thought you might have been using a different version of the openvr_api.dll but even when I use an older dll with the newer win-openvr it still works fine. The only way it doesn't work is if there's no openvr_api.dll in the plugins directory which should alongside the win-openvr.dll

im delete old version of openVR plugin (every file), make sure they all deleted, then unpack your archive (v 1.5) . Every file unpacked and at correct place. Check it many times. OBS loading without OpenVR plugin (error in log as i wrote before).

When i do it with 1.4 version - its works. But only 1.5 not working.

I'm use last version of SteamVR. Also trying SteamVR beta. Not work anyway.

but this file is present and located in the given path. Extracted from the downloaded archive from this site. every versions works fine cept 1.5, which is not loading during start.

PS: turn off antivirus, run as admin, etc - nothing help.

maybe the build posted on the site is broken, you tried to install EXACTLY from it? By downloading from the site?

I'm having the same issue after a clean install. Used to work fine. LOG: 19:45:27.587: LoadLibrary failed for '../../obs-plugins/64bit/win-openvr.dll': The specified module could not be found. 19:45:27.587: (126) 19:45:27.587: Module '../../obs-plugins/64bit/win-openvr.dll' not loaded

Edit: Replaced 1.5 with Open VR 1.1, and it works. Then replaced with 1.5 and it is gone again. OBS 64bit v 26.0.2

small update: v1.5 works with StreamLabsOBS but do not work with OBS (obs cant see plugin,for some reason) Unfortunately i'm not using StreamLabsOBS and dont like it... install it just for test.
