Hey there Baffler, I hope this message finds you well and your time off has been fruitful! It's been some time since you've released any sort of update for your OBS plugin. It still stands that you are more or less the only option with regards to any sort of VR plugin support for OBS. Much more crisp/clean than the old method of using the built-in headset preview in SteamVR. Not only that but much better in terms of performance than the above option too (aside from the memory leak of course). Directly capturing the video game in a lot of cases is worse than all 3 options, so your plugin still is the best option.

As of today, OBS has released their newest iteration of OBS, version v28.0 as seen here: https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/28.0.0

With new changes to their "QT User Interface Toolkit" changing from version 5 to the latest version 6, there's been a lot of compatibility issues with older plugins. Will you by chance make any effort in updating your plugin for version 6 and the latest OBS? Your plugin is instrumental in my, and a LOT of other VR streamer's streams so it would be very much appreciated if you did! Please consider this.

I've updated OBS and the plugin is working fine.

How did you get it to work? If I follow the procedure as mentioned in Github, the plugin won't show up as a source for me.

As one who waited to push to v28, as other plugins were not working. I did the update last night, I ran the OBS exe. Upon launching of obs the OpenVR plugin was still there and working. Unsure why you have issues, but perhaps a reinstall is in order.

I assume you restarted the pc after updating. As in my experience it seems just relaunching OBS after an update doesn’t always show new plugins.

I've restarted my computer many times afterwards, and tried reinstalling the plugin many times as well, it just doesn't show up anymore. I have reinstalled OBS also because of this, but to no success.
