Yup, looks good, but AFAIK this is the first update, so we probably should update the version number at the top of the README to 1.1 with an accompanying date of today. What do you think?

Makes sense to me. Maybe work through #4 and #6 before we to a version bump?

I think it's OK to delay updating the version number for this (but perhaps the date?) as no semantic changes have been made in this particular change, just clarifications. (Unless you want to call it 1.0.1 in the meantime - there's no develop branch or tags for the earlier releases, so it would be unclear what is 1.0 now)
