Maven-ise the project #1

Please strongly consider using Maven, it will dramatically lower the barrier of 
entry for users to install and use this great library.

I've discovered that most modern Java developers now use Maven (or at least an 
ant plugin) to manage their middleware. Manual installation of jars and manual 
dependency management is a thing of the past, except for very small one man 
projects.

If you give me access to the source code, I could probably turn your project 
into a Maven project very easily, but I must admit I do not know how to push 
new releases (with source/javadoc) to the public Maven repositories (we could 
work out the latter together.)
