This makes getting this up and running on Ubuntu easier:
The paths to convert and gs are now in settings.py. By default, it will check for /usr/bin/gs and /usr/bin/convert (conventional location for Ubuntu/Debian) as well as their /usr/local/bin equivalents (conventional on Mac Homebrew, I believe).
It adds some installation instructions for Ubuntu; PDF conversion is disabled by ImageMagick by default on Ubuntu.
Bonus changes:
requirements.txt makes this easier (PyPDF was not documented)
There's now a .gitignore, because having a bunch of untracked *.pyc files and a virtualenv sitting there was definitely for me to accidentally commit a bunch of garbage (I'd like to think I'll only ever make that mistake once, ha ha).
