Same problem here, too. cppcryptfs 1.4.0.28 with Dokany 1.3.0.1000 Excrypted Excel file not on One Drive, but local NTFS folder.
I was able to reset File permissions with this: http://lallouslab.net/2013/08/26/resetting-ntfs-files-permission-in-windows-graphical-utility/
But this is not a permament solution!
Update: No problem if encrypted folder is on SMB-Share. I guess it has to do something either with new Dokany release and NTFS-permission or with cppcryptfs and new Dokany version.
I think this problems could be linked to this issue: https://github.com/dokan-dev/dokany/issues/822
Here is bug that is likely with MS Office/ OneDrive and not with cppcrypt/dokany but at least people can watch for it I've been playing around with excel files using cppcrypt for a couple years with the encrypted folder on onedrive (I know not the best, but convenient) Now in 1.4.0.27 with dokany 1.3 something gets corrupted with the file permissions. When I save my excel file it says "The document was saved successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of a sharing violation. Please close the document and try to open it again." After closing it, it won't open it says it cannot be found, I can't open it in notepad either. Then I discovered i could not even copy the file as I did not have the privileges. I was able to grab them back on the encrypted file after which I could again open but privileges get stripped on save. Does not seem to happen with saving to a flash drive using the same file.
