MySQL Server at RDS AWS #42

Use this MySQL Server everywhere on US-East VTS application server. For both PHP and Java workloads.

On this wiki page in the Configuration section, carefully document ALL files where the MySQL server, username and password is configured.

password will not be mentioned in wiki. It is same as before.

Database shifted to server: itrackdb.c4pqfsdaiccz.us-east-1.rds.amazonaws.com. For now we are using same name database iespl_vts_beta. Later we will change it to itrack.

As discussed, this migration to mysql RDS is not yet complete. Rizwan will complete it and update wiki.

Two web files containing Mysql detail are used by web pages only -updated on wiki. For Reports and Alerts i will update shortly.

Let me know when can I terminate the mysql server on VTS web server?

Yes sir you can terminate mysql server now from VTS web server.

Done. MySQL server stopped and removed. You still have mysql client and php-mysql module.
