KDE 3.5 port - Githubissues

Pardon me if I have broached etiquette but I scoured the site looking for
email contacts for the development team.

Is there a possibility of a port to KDE 3.5? We are planning to stay on
Debian Lenny for quite a while longer and webdav to our Zimbra server is
not working well.

I tried all three releases but compilation for each failed with:
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-2.6/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:35 (MESSAGE):
  ERROR: Could not find KDE4 kde4-config

I am not an experienced developer.  In fact, I'm not a developer at all but
I'm willing to help in whatever way I can.  Thanks - John

Given the reliability issues with KDE lately, we are likely to stay on 4.4 
until 4.5 has been proven to be stable.  If you can find a developer to provide 
a patch that allows 4.5 support without breaking 4.3 and 4.4 support, I would 
be happy to consider it.

Upon reading the issue more carefully, I saw that you were referring to 3.5 not 
4.5.  Qt4 is quite different than Qt3, so there are no plans to backport this 
connector to KDE 3.5.  As such, I will mark this issue as WontFix.  However, if 
somebody can contribute a patch that will allow the build to work on both KDE 
3.x and KDE 4.x, I'm certainly open to including it in an upcoming release.
