Unable to create new CalDAV resource

I have just downloaded the latest version of kcaldav from your Mercurial
repository, hoping to use it to sync Kontact with Google Calendar. I am
running Kontact 1.4.2 / Korganiser 4.2.2 on Kubuntu 9.04. kcaldav builds
and installs fine, and shows up in Korganiser (as 'CalDAV Server') when I
go to add a new resource. However, if I click on it, I get the error
'Unable to create resource of type caldav.'. What am I missing here?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a dialog allowing me to enter the details of my CalDAV account.

That's the same result I get on Opensuse 11.0 64-bit and Gentoo 64-bit, in KDE 
4.3.1.
Since 64-bit support is listed as a TODO, I don't know if my results are 
related.

Also tried it, also getting "Unable to create new CalDAV resource" when trying 
to add
a resource. using stock KDE 4.3.1 packages from Fedora 11.

Unless the hg repository points to the wrong place, there is actually nothing 
but
stubs in the src code...

Also, the .desktop file contains a duplicate entry for the Service property, and
ServiceTypes should actually be X-KDE-ServiceTypes

This project is just a skeleton.  I am still looking for people to help with
development.  It seems that there is quite a bit of interest in this, yet 
nobody has
been able to volunteer sufficient time to move it forward.

Ok, if you have requests to test I can help you, but I am not familiar at all 
with
KDE and C++ so I can't help you in coding (debugging is possible if it doesn't 
need
to recompile something else than kcaldav :)
